Background
Started in residential refrigeration and moved to commercial after a year, because component-level diagnostics are where the interesting problems live. I'm not the fastest tech on the team but I leave the cleanest notes, which matters when the next call on the same site lands six months later.
What I work on
Restaurant-side refrigeration — True and Traulsen reach-ins, Continental and Beverage-Air prep tables, Hussmann display merchandisers. Diagnostics work that goes past "replace the board" and finds the actual upstream cause: bad relay, miswired thermostat, condensate line, dirty condenser.
